So after 12 long weeks, I’ve finished my IV chemo and rang the bell to celebrate the end of that treatment.
Now the scaniexty waiting for scans and results, then onto my next chapter. Hope for the future is what’s keeping me going and just taking every day step by step. This week I’m having a duvet week, to rest and recover.
Onwards and upwards
Great news valleygirl . It's a great feeling when it's all done. Best wishes for your next chapter.

Hi Valleygirl
Well done on getting through your treatment so far!
Scanxiety really is awful and unfortunately, it doesn't get any easier to deal with, but of course you will deal with it. I hope you get positive results from your scan.
Listen to your body and rest when you need to. Enjoy your duvet week.
As for hope, I agree with Ellie, it is a very powerful word, but also it can give you the power to soldier on. I have lived through hope for the last two and a half years, and will continue to do so. I believe it has helped me to stay positive and because of hope, and other things of course, I'm still here today.
All our dreams and desires, creations and plans, are fed by hope!
Best wishes
Helen
