Update from Candysmum - Good News!

Hello everyone

I had a scan at the end of September, and got the results this week. I am not having any treatment at the moment; through choice; my last visit was at the end of July.

The oncologist phoned me today to say that everything is stable, there has been no change since my last scan in June. That's great news!

I will be being monitored by having another scan in January, but my oncologist is pretty optimistic that the treatment will continue to work, and I'll be stable...at least for a while.

It means I can have a total break from the cancer, and focus on enjoying my life and getting on with renovating my garden!

I will be taking a break from the forums, at least for a while, though I may drop in occasionally to keep an eye on you all!

Hope you all continue in the best health possible...you are ALL incredible!

Bye for now

Kate

  • Hi Kate, (Candysmum) That is just the news we wanted to hear. The thing about these new drugs is, when they work, they can go on working for years, so I hope that happens for you!

Enjoy a well earned break, especially from appointments but drop in every now and then to let us know how you are doing!!
