I’m going to apologise now as I’m getting stressed about messages coming up in my email that I then have to try and find and sometimes they are for me and sometimes not. The stressful part for me is that you may think I’ve ignored your message to me, but it’s just taking me ages so I might stop tracing them. My apologies but I would never ignore a message intentionally.

Hi Mags123
Hope you are ok. Please don't get stressed about messages and if you miss them. I'm not sure if anyone has given you this information so forgive me if I am repeating. I use the email as an alert but don't go back into the forum each time I get an email as the responses are saved into your account.
See the green bar at the top that says Macmillan Cancer support. See the V type icon, that is for responses to any posts you've made. It may have a number on it and that tells you that there are responses there. Once you've clicked on the V, then click on the lightening bolt icon and your responses will be there. If you click into each one it will take you straight to them. The numbers automatically clear once you have looked at each response.
I hope this helps and as I say please forgive me if I am telling you things you may already know. I think it's safe to say that no one in the group would have bad feeling about not responding. Sometimes there are glitches with the IT system and nothing to do with us if we miss responses. Please don't worry, we are all here to support each other.
Big hug from me

Thank you very much Sistermoon. Very kind of you to take the trouble to show me. I did as you said but your message wasn’t there. I picked up yours from my email. That’s what I’m finding tricky as on the email, I sometimes end up on people’s profile. I think it must be me and not the site. Really kind of you to try and help, thank you.
Hi again Mags123
I think sometimes there may be a delay for it going in responses. All I can think re getting on to someone's profile is that you've clicked on their name within the email instead of a random click. It's endlessly fascinating and infuriating, the world of IT

Hi Sistermoon,
MacMillan Support have kindly got involved too. They are disabling email alerts which might help.
If you don’t see me on here, you know I’ve given up with it but hopefully it will work.
Thank you again as I think it might be a bit of me not doing it right.
