Hi everyone. Went to hospital today to get my mask made, scan, blood test and date for starting. They were lovely to Wife and me. So my radio/chemotherapy starts on 22 February. My steroids are being cut back gradually now too. Hopefully my muscle aching and breathlessness will ease. So no more to say, got to keep my head straight emotionally, and get my body fit. Xx
I am pleased to say that I am busy! Iam feeling relatively well. I am now reducing my steroid intake, but that can mean the tumour swells. These last two days,I can * just* feel the tumour in my head. I shall get a call tomorrow to give advice. That’s a positive. I am getting work done at home. Jobs that need to be done for my peace of mind when my treatment starts. Of course, my life is limited, and a lot of manual work, paperwork is done for my wife. Again, peace of mind for me. And my mind is peaceful. Along with that, our DWP claims have been successful, and we don’t have to worry about money now. That’s good too. All peace of mind. It’s essential to me .
