A question about taking prednisolone and dexamethasone.

Hi

I've had to go on a 3 week course of prednisolone to get a toxicity (from immunotherapy) under control.

I'm on a taper,  and will be down to 20mgs come next chemo treatment day.

I asked my Oncologist if I should still take the pre treatment steroids as well as the prednisolone and I 'think' they said yes.

But I've googled it and come across some info that says these two steroids shouldn't be taken at the same time.  I'm now wondering if maybe I misheard the Oncologist.?

Any thoughts welcome.   Obviously I will double check, but am interested to know what other people think.
