My GP just rang to 'check that I was alright after the bad news on Friday.'
What bad news? Says I.
Oh shit, says she.
Anyway, it appears that the biopsy they took during my bronchoscopy at the beginning of the month has identified primary lung cancer, rather than the expected kidney cancer metastases.
So that's two primary cancers I have now, kidney and lung. An all you can eat buffet!
Cancer is very determined to get me!
I don't suppose it makes much difference. I'm not having any treatment at the moment, and I probably wouldn't bother with anything unless there was a really, seriously good chance of it working.
Much love to everyone,
Stuart x
Hey Galilee
A second primary cancer was found in the histology after my op to remove the first - I got lucky that the surgeon decided to take that bit out as well... Honestly, you couldn't make up the stuff we go through. Life and fiction and all that...
You seem quite stoical about the whole thing. Good way to be :-)
