I hear that there is another heatwave coming Patrick, really not looking forward to it. Today is 21 and a bit windy so feeling fresh. Have you moved yet Chelle? Angie it is your eye operation this week isn't it and your birthday? When is your daughter coming to stay? Stacy I really and truly hope you are home this week. You can have so many cuddles from Macy. Please don't let your candle burn out, we need you on here, you are part of our family. Love to everyone.
Rose sorry you are in hospital and hoping they can figure out what is the cause of your abnormal blood work soon. I suspect nothing is happening at the weekend at the hospital as they are just holding things as they are. You certainly deserve a nice juicy steak .
Patrick we are going to have 34C this coming week. A bit too hot for me. The streets are deserted due to the heat, like Covid times.

Winston was a bully at my parents house and decided to poo on Hanhan’s sofa seat one day. I am sure both cats are relieved that Winston has gone back home. He has been very clingy and I hope he won’t pee on the sofa. But he knows about ‘revenge best served cold’ !
My level of patience with all of it surprises even me sometimes. I often think back to before I agreed to this surgery and my thoughts back then. I remember thinking to myself can I survive something like that, and having to spend so much time in the hospital afterwards, and thought absolutely not, I'd go crazy, I wouldn't be able to handle it emotionally or physically. But when you have to do something, you somehow find the strength to do it as painful as that is for me to admit at times. As overwhelming as this journey has been, I still feel so bad when I lash out at family, friends, and staff during my emotional breakdowns, and I've apologized endless times for them, even though everyone has been so understanding during those difficult moments. My patience has definitely struggled a lot at times, but it hasn't failed me yet.
I actually added the Ring app on my phone so I could keep an eye on Macy whenever my dad had her in the front or backyard playing. She always brings a smile to my face, and helped make my time here bearable. The funniest moments was me talking to her through the camera and seeing her expressions looking around frantically trying to figure out where my voice was coming from. She cracks me up!
Everything is still looking great for my release this week, so keeping my fingers crossed. I get to do a ton of shopping once I'm settled in back at home. I'm donating or just giving away all of my old clothes, and finding cute tops, hoodies, and cute sweaters for this coming fall and winter that will fit overtop of the prosthetic. Hopefully that will help with my comfort level when I'm out with my family and friends.
