  • Good Morning to you all,

i just had a look at the recent posts, have been unwell for a while and just starting to feel a bit more myself again. Bloods are still not up to scratch and treatment has been postponed until the 10th July.

Stella, all the best for today. Hope you get home soon so Winston is not getting up to mischief
Eddie, I am so glad little Evie is feeling better again and is able to join you all for the holiday.
Stacy hope you are doing ok and your fittings will be plain sailing.
Chelle, happy moving into your new home.
Tv man, hope your wife is not too sore and will recover from her fall asap. So good to hear she didn’t damage her hip.
Lee, I am enjoying Tai Chi too. Started it about 8 weeks ago.
Patrick,  how did you coped with the heat where you are? My Step-mum was totally floored by it.

Everyone on this thread have a good weekend and fingers crossed for all your appointments, results, plans and whatever is important to each of you. I shall give myself a good kick up the unmentionable to get up and going for a bit. Sending a big hug and love to you all

  • Hi Angie I am glad that you are feeling a bit better and hopefully your bloods will pick up soon.  Aren't you having surgery on your eye in July?  Very wet day today.  I started Tai Chi about 8 weeks ago too.  Well it is called Shibashi part Tai Chi and Qigong.  Lovely and relaxing.

  • Good morning Lee, yes I have the plastic surgery scheduled for the 30th July in Aberdeen. Christine is coming up for that and will stay for a few days for my Birthday, Laura and family are away on Grinninglidays. Just looking out and the sky does not look hopeful here either. Hasn’t been a great start to the summer season so far. We go live in hope that it will improve Grinning. Have a good weekend xx love

  • Angie I am sorry to hear you have not been too good. I hope your bloods will improve for your next treatment. We have a group that meets at our local park to do T’ai chi and I find just watching them is calming. X

  • Stacy,

I'm sorry your casting was so difficult.  Sending hugs. You are such a warrior.  I hope you had a great visit with your friend.

  • Hi all,

Sorry to be so quiet of late. I've been struggling a little... mostly small stuff but it adds up. I'm still reading and thinking of all of you even when I lack energy to post replies.

I hope everyone is well, good luck with procedures and enjoy your trips.

Stacy I am sorry I missed your post about your appointment, I am sorry it was so exhausting and painful for you. I hope you had a lovely time seeing your friend.

I am sorry to hear you have been struggling. The small things do add up, and it soon starts to feel overwhelming. We are here if you need to chat x

  • Hi Angie, that's a long time to wait for your treatment, I sincerely hope your bloods are better then. I've my latest bloods to get tested in a week and a half.

Mrs Tvman is still very sore just below the knee and still very bruised. She's supposed to rest up with her feet raised but my goodness I don't know how many times I've had to remind her to get off her feet. You have a good weekend too Angie and hope you feel better soon.

  • Hi

I am back home from my lung ablation. The consultant has treated my left side (3 nodules) with radio frequency ablation and I had a deflated lung so he has to put a chest tube in. Will need to come back from the right side in a few weeks time. Not much pain but very bad nausea from the GA cocktail. The added bonus is he did post ablation CT scan as I was due for the whole body surveillance scan he did that instead of just the chest CT. He viewed it straight away and said all other areas are clear. So no chemo for another 3 months! No need to for scan anxieties either.

Hope everyone have a peaceful and relaxing weekend. Sending hugs to folks with difficulties recently, hope things will ease off soon. Weather is not so great but the garden needs rain? My roses are all shattered, lots of dead heading for me tomorrow.

  • Hi Stella, I'm sorry things didn't go as smoothly as hoped, but I pray you say goodbye to the nausea soonHugging, but what wonderful news from your scan, I'm so pleased for you sweetheart, and no chemo for a good while too, I feel a well deserved holiday coming upGrinning

We've spent the day in Penzance, due to the gales halting the ferry's, but we had a lovely day, and we're told the ferry's will be sailing tomorrowGrinning.

I'll have everything crossed you get a good night's sleep, and feel much better in the morning.

    love Eddie and family xx
