Hi all

Here's your new chit-chat thread for June!

Hope it helps you all feel connected, do let us know if you need any further support, we're here to helpGreen heart

  • Hello to You All,

It sounds like a rough week for a number of us. Very sorry to hear this. We're waiting to see my oncologist...put off twice and I feel it won't be great news ...but we soldier on, as you do.

Finally, a welcome change in the weather as you can see below, although my Garmin awarded me an Arctic Badge for this morning's swim

  • Hi T, sorry to hear your stats results are still poor my friend, butPray upping your meds helps, and though I hope you don't have Angina,"and definitely nothing worse,." It's often very easy to live with, I've used my GTN twice in 8 years.

    love Eddie and family xx

  • Awww Rose, we do sometimes get a little good news sweetheart, and Fingers crossedPray it's your turn, also a big well done getting your award, isn't swimming in the sea wonderful, and even more so in the lovely weather that's coming. XX

  • PS, where's the pic taken, xx

  • Sorry to hear that Angie, but as Stella points out there are options available to manage it. Stay as cheerful as you can and be thankful for the cooler weather in your parts. Mid-thirties this afternoon here and I'm staying indoors till evening.

    Patrick xx

  • I hope you manage to sort out your issues very soon and take it easy in the meantime.

  • Everybody's photos look lovely.  I am so sorry Angie that you have a liver met.  How long were you on first line treatment?  I am also sorry to hear about your bloods and your heart Tvman.  Hope you get to cuddle little Violet really soon.  Hope everyone has a good weekend.  We are bottling wine tomorrow.

  • It's beautiful Rose, I must try to go to Ireland while I still can, maybe I can pick your brains), we're back in the Scilly's, but have treatment on Monday, so another quick trip home. Pray your making lots of lovely memories, xx

  • Hi Tvman, sorry to read your update wasn't as good as you hoped. I'm still navigating this site so was looking for your update. I'm still in my pity party stage. Had my mask fitting today. I know I have to go through the whole process but I feel so grim about it all. It's nice to see on here how people are coping x
