Hi everyone
Here's your new chat thread for April.
We're happy to start this for you, but anyone is welcome to start the thread if you get to it before we do
Happy April everyone. Cloudy but dry today, watching some planes land whilst walking Alfie.
Hi
Having a little rant!
I had lung nodule biopsy 10 days ago. Yesterday, the PA of the thoracic surgeon told me the result is available so I am expecting an appointment with the surgeon soonish. This afternoon at 4pm, I suddenly got a notification from my chart that I have a telephone consultation booked with him at 18:30. It is a bit of surprise and there is no prior notice at all. But anyway, waited around and no one called! Craig has to leave an important meeting early because of it too. Luckily I already know it is cancer just need biopsy to confirm and discuss the next step. So not really stressed but quite irritated.
I think the thoracic surgeon is a bit chaotic with his appointment book. He called me personally twice before to book in appointments with him. Then he never inserts them in the MyChart system. I have to do it instead. I think he should leave it to the PA who can work the computer system.
Rant over, now having some Thai food. Yum x
Spoke too soon. He called 1 hour later and I can hear baby crying in the background Maybe he was on home late and on baby sitting duty?
Anyhow it is bowel cancer mets not a new cancer. Now I am back to colorectal surgeon again to be referred on to see an intervention radiologist. One day It will be done!
Morning Stella, how very beautiful the flowers are. There is something so uplifting in a flower display. You certainly have the knack for arranging. Dear me your thoracic surgeon does sound a bit lacking in keeping his diary up to date. Enjoy your Thai food and the rest of the day. Hug to you all from
Angie and Lilly xx
Thanks everyone! There is another one from my garden. I found my tulips opens as soon as I pick them. So they don’t look much like tulip! The blue vase and silver foliage go particularly well well with this purple flower.

I have not heard from Lucy or Mr TVman for a while. Wonder how are they doing?
X
Such delicate, beautiful colours!
awaiting Storm David at the weekend but meanwhile the apple blossom makes me smile every time...
