As ever, in memory of Ellie. Everyone is welcome to chit chat, share experiences or recipes, whatever you need
Hi Susan, I used to have a cat who draped herself over my leg with her paws hanging down. When I was working and my alarm went off she used to walk up my body and nuzzle her nose against my face! I miss her loads.
Your Faith is lovely, looks like she has a beautifully shiny coat.

Good luck everyone who has appointments, scans etc. I have oncology appointment on Wednesday so a bit apprehensive as normal. I hope we hear from Stacy soon. My dogs are fine we are still all in bed. Thinking of getting up and taking them for a lovely walk in the woods. The sun is shining but rather cold. Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Good afternoon TVman. Laura has been ordering from the same company for over 12 years now. It really beggars belief what they all get away with. We had oil as well in Northern Ireland. I got the air source pump heating put in nearly 3 years ago. Thought I do my bit for the environment and was told it was very economical to run. My foot for economical running costs. It’s a great system but at a price. Thankfully I also have a multi fuel log burner in my lounge. It comes in pretty handy when we get power cuts due to the weather. Hope you and Mrs TVman are doing fine and don’t get hit too badly by the weather over the next few days. Big hug to all from
Angie and Lilly xx
Guten Tag Patrick, how are you and your better half getting on? I hope we might get an update from Stacy in the near future. I keep thinking about her and hope she is doing ok. I am still having a bit of a battle with my fatigue at the moment. Suits me fine this week as it is the Cheltenham Festival. Cosy afternoon with Lilly watching the Gold Cup is on the cards. Have a lovely rest of the day. Big hug to you both from
Angie and Lillie. x
I am so done with doctors. Aren't they supposed to be smart? Aren't they supposed to know SOMETHING? ANYTHING?
Every doctor has a different idea of what's going on and what can or cannot be done. I can't even ask questions because they keep changing everything on me.
Sorry for the rant but I am so frustrated.
The good news is the oncologist is offering me chemo. So at least I will get some treatment instead of just waiting to die. But he says I can't stay on IV nutrition (TPN) long term however he is outside his field and can't help with other options. Grrr
Hi Angie, alles so gut wie möglich hier. I think about her too and send nice thoughts and prayers. Fatigue is horrible, I am fortunate as it always seems to go away fairly quickly. After two weeks of really warm and sunny weather, we are back to cold and windy and expensive heating. Things will get better...

You rant away Susan13
it does us good to have a good rant sometimes. Great news about the chemo. I do feel your frustration, it sounds like you are being pulled from pillar to post with these doctors.
Hi Susan, I am sorry to hear this, you must be so frustrated. I hate seeing different oncologists. The last one I saw, he is a new registrar, was horrible. He never looked up or greeted my husband and I when we walked in. He had food down his top and he wanted to examine my breasts. I know I have breast cancer but strangely there is no cancer in my breasts this time only bones. I declined as I am really not happy with him. They all tell you something different. I am going to request to see only the main oncologist if I can. Can you do this?
