Hi folks
I just thought I would set you up a new thread for February - in fond memory of Ellie
I'll close the January thread so you can continue chatting here.
Please do feel free to set up your own thread, but we can always do it if you prefer
Hi Claire, welcome to the Incurables group. As others have said, this is a very friendly group and everyone joining is going to benefit from some of the nicest people I have ever met. Everyone has your back here.
So sorry you've had to join us and I really do wish I'd met you elsewhere. Everything you've said we can all relate to and can empathise.
I'll speak again I'm sure.

Hi everyone, haven't been around for a few days and I've caught up on most of your posts.
Stella, I must be the last one to wish you a belated happy birthday, so sorry I'm late. I see you're having problems and I'm so sorry to hear about that. Hang on in there and hopefully you'll improve back to a kind of normal that we're all enduring.
I had bloods taken last Wednesday morning and on Wednesday afternoon I had a phone call from the cancer unit at the Ulster hospital. Unfortunately the nurse warned me that my blood results are very poor, in fact they're the worst I've ever had. It seems when someone's blood results are at that kind of level then a nurse will ring and have a chat. I feel like I've been hit by a lightning strike and I'm still numb. A haemotologist rang me the next day as usual and she had a long chat too.
On a happier note, Mrs Tvman and I are on a ferry from Belfast to Cairnryan to drive to Glasgow to visit our son and daughter in law and our very latest granddaughter whom we haven't seen in person and most of all we can't wait to hold her for the very first time. I'm sure the tears will flow.
We've not been able to go because as you know we're having a new kitchen installed as well as some building work. Our patio doors were removed, ready to be replaced by larger ones but then there was a delay and we had to get the doors area boarded up so as the house wasn't fully secure. We were very reluctant to leave it empty, even though we're in a relatively remote area.
Sorry everyone for the long post, but that seems to be my type of post these days as I have so much to say.
Hugs to all

Have a wonderful time with your loved ones in Glasgow TVman and Mrs TVman. It will be such a great joy for you both to cuddle your latest addition to the family. If you fancy a trip to Speyside just let me know I keep my fingers, toes and everything else crossed that your bloods will stabilise again soon. Love to you all from

Hiya Stacy, so glad you have had a great time last night at the concert. Nothing like a live performance to make one feel good for a while and forget about everyday issues. My son, his wife and my granddaughter (age 5 1/2 ) and I are going to see Nathan Carter at the end of March in Aberdeen. Little Mirren is a huge fan of his and has been going to see him since she was 3 years old. She is very musical and loves to dance. I go to pieces every time when he sings Bridge over troubled water. Mind my most cherished concert has to be Andrea Bocelli in 2012 in Birmingham. It was magical. Hope you have a cosy weekend. Love from

Thank you it’s so lovely to be amongst truly understanding people and know we have the same feelings
I’ve had a very busy social day and for many hours I’ve forgotten then it hits me again like a freight train as if it’s all new again
Hi Stacy, my thoughts will be with you tomorrow and the coming days. I wish you strength and patience.
