Hi everyone,
Just setting up a new chat thread for November. If you would like to catch up on October's chat you can click here. Please note that it's now locked, so you won’t be able to reply to that thread.
The chit chat thread is for: Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!
It has been a tough few days for me as Ellie and Eddie bid farewell to us, one of my bowel cancer friend has passed away yesterday. She was diagnosed at the same time as me and of similar age too. It was so sad as she loved her family so much and would have done anything to survive.
It is a beautiful sunny day so I went for a walk and cried quite a bit. I think we ought to get on in memory of lost friends. I am sure they want us to keep going and living the best lives we can.
Meeting up with a friend for lunch. Then going to London for the flower market on Sunday if the weather is OK.
Glad to see Lee (Lec) react to the posts. Hope you are doing OK lee.
Love to you all Stella x
The sad news on here has hit me too Stella, I thought I might step away for a while but you are so right we must keep going and living life as fully as we can . I’m sorry about your friend too
Hugs to anyone who needs one tonight

Of course it's been a sad week here. Ellie and Eddie were the first to welcome me and make me feel comfortable. I will miss Ellie's fantastic humour like the time she was cleaning her fridge when a leg of lamb fell out and almost knocked her out. And Eddie, besides being warm-hearted and exceptionally supportive, also very knowledgeable and talented in many areas - a truly remarkable man. But new people will come along who unfortunately will not have even known them. They will have their own questions, worries and needs and we have to be there for them as Ellie and Eddie were for us.

I don’t know if it is too soon to talk about Christmas, but Alfie has his Christmas jumper on. And although it’s cold today, he still insists on sleeping on his cold mat !! So I think the jumper is very much needed.
Oh Chelle, Alfie is so cute in his Christmas jumper. He has grown so much.

Stella, I am so sorry to hear about your friend and so young too.
Take care.
Helen
