Hi everyone,
Just setting up a new chat thread for November. If you would like to catch up on October's chat you can click here. Please note that it's now locked, so you won’t be able to reply to that thread.
The chit chat thread is for: Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!
Sharon, glad to hear your son is getting better and hope he will be home soon. X
I was supposed to have my chemotherapy today but the neutrophil level is too low to go ahead. Booked in for new Wednesday instead. I was suppose to go to Germany next Friday and that has to be cancled
I went to an art and craft fair yesterday with a couple of friends and bought a new vase which was really beautiful and lovely to touch too. Still have a few flowers in the garden so picked them is afternoon

Any plans for the week ahead folks?

That's really annoying but still four weeks to go till Christmas so maybe you can fit in the Christmas market a bit later? Vase and flowers are lovely
Patrick xx
It is mainly to go to a friend’s 60’s birthday party, then to meet another friend who moved to Australia and was back to Germany for Christmas. It is quite annoying. My hope is if the surgery is a success then I would able to visit them next year.
How are you doing Patrick?

Hi Stella,
I always love seeing the flower photos that you share on here!

Thanks, I'm ok, I was hoping to celebrate Christmas without a tracheostoma but my neck is still swollen so they can't safely close it up yet. But that is a just a minor hickup, I am stable and can enjoy Christmas with 'the little ones' which is the main thing.
Patrick xx
I didn’t realise you have a tracheostomy. I had a patient with it as he had throat cancer before, he seems doing well with it. Hopefully you shall be without it soon in the new year.
Hi guys, I just wanted to say goodbye, and wish you all the very best with whatever comes your way, and hope you find the love, strength, and support to guide you, and of course each other, on the best forum on the community.
Love and hugs to you all xx
And the same to you Eddie, this forum is the pinnacle for friendship, thoughtfulness and love from each person to all members. I can't say for everyone else but in my case it's so humbling when I read that there are some very ill people who are determined to be a shoulder for others.
I will always remember you xx
