I know this might be an odd question were anyone able to claim attend allowance
Welshlad
Hey - not an odd question at all. I have seen many a Q&A and advice on this topic, but not recently, bizarrely. There are some suport organisations that can help you fill in the application. And don;t take that the wrong way, or as a put-down. People generally try and fill it in with a positive slant "on my good days", but the form is about EVERY day. These support people know the game and can ensure you include the items the review people need. My BiL got this guidance for my sister and they charged him £25, very apologetically! But he said how helpful it was. Anecdotally, I remember some forum members were successful, and some were not, and a lot of the sharing was about the application, what was included and whether they reflected good or bad days.
Maggies and MacMillan both have people will help you out for the form. You would have a much higher chance of success with their help as they know certain key words etc to includes.
My clinical nurse passed my information on to Tenovus and they contacted and wanted my NI number so they can apply for attendance allowance and blue badge for me

Hi welshlad I am glad you have now received your attendance allowance. Am I right in thinking that Tenovus is a Welsh cancer charity? It’s great they were able to help you, and so quickly too.
Just for information purposes if anyone else needs help with attendance allowance, pip, or any benefit money matters, there are several ways you can get help. You may be entitled to a benefit you are not aware of. Citizen advice bureau and Maggies are able to assist with this, and you can also call the MacMillan support line on 0808 808 00 00.
