Good morning everyone,
Just setting up a new chat thread for August. If you would like to catch up on July's chat you can click here. Please note that it's now locked, so you won’t be able to reply to that thread.
The chit chat thread is for: Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!
Good morning. Glad you had a lovely birthday Annette, your children and grandchildren spoilt you with homemade gifts which are so thoughtful. Your photos look lovely Stella, definitely happy memories. Tvman would you recommend Legoland, I do not have children but wondered if it was good just for adults to go. Patrick we are hoping to go on 6 September but I haven't booked it yet I am scared something will go wrong. We are going to Praia da Luz. Are you going to Thailand for a month? It is difficult to go away when you have four dogs as the housesitters have to be booked nearly a year in advance and we all know with cancer that is not possible. Hope you have a good day Ellie and Lucy. I hope everyone has a good day. It is a BBQ for us today as lovely sunny weather.
Lee 2 x
What a lovely experience, and a lovely memory to look back on.
Hi
I am still in J’burgh. Not doing much as not able to walk outside even in day light. It is very odd as there is hardly anyone walking outside at all. One has to drive everywhere. The hotel is very nice and directly connected to a massive shopping mall.
Patrick: the pride of lions we met already had a big meal beforehand. I will be just a snack for them. The guide said they probably had buffalo or hippo as all 10 lions / lionesses are very full.
I will be using this photo again on a hot day
Ellie how are you getting on? Is your memory getting better?
Lucy any more holiday plans?
Lee 2 Portugal sounds great for September. I have only been to Lisbon and Porto. Lovely food and wine!
Annett : happy birthday!
Tvman hope you , Mrs and rest of the family having a great time.
Eddie: how are you doing?
