Good morning everyone,
Just setting up a new chat thread for August. If you would like to catch up on July's chat you can click here. Please note that it's now locked, so you won’t be able to reply to that thread.
The chit chat thread is for: Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!
As yet no one from the surgery got back to me, got of the phone at 8.10.
The Hospice said I need district nurse in, and that comes under your gp as they are your primary care provider, which I ponied out, my gp on holiday, though will get a ,locum to phone, still waiting, give me strength.
I hope you got that sorted Ellie. I've managed to sort out insurance and have booked flights to Thailand for October. Anyone heard from Eddie or Stella? Have a good weekend everyone and take it easy.
Patrick xx
Hi Ellie, It is lovely getting flowers, it lifts your spirit!
Regarding your GP, can you maybe phone the Hospice and let them know about the 20 questions as I would think all they needed to know was “The Hospice told you to phone” that should be enough for them! I would also let them know no one has got back to you. You certainly don’t need this, I’m so sorry!

Good morning everyone. Lovely to get flowers Ellie cant remember when my husband last bought me flowers . I got a quote for travel insurance from Allclear for week in Portugal for £1950 which is ridiculous and a quote from Insurancewith for £267 , how is there such a difference. Who did you go with Patrick? I have been feeling yuck all week just generally feeling miserable and hate looking at the woman in the mirror. Today read another thread and it says one positive thing every day. My positive is that today my back feels better after the radiotherapy. Hope everyone has a great weekend. What is your positive?
