Hi Chelle, Annette is wonderful, as are grandkids, which I hope one day you'll experience too, and hopefully soon,
I think Shih Tzu's, and Jack Russell's are complete opposites, but with luck Alfie will take on the best qualities of both, as their hunting instinct is a problem at times, Poppy goes off her food quite often, she does wilt in the heat.
And though I do love the heat, it does sap me over time, and must take steps to manage it, I'm sorry you get migraines my friend, there a rare visitor these days, thankfully.
Well I hope it stays dry, and not too hot for your big day on Saturday, Chelle, and you have a great time with family and friends, and may I wish you a happy birthday. XX
38 is way too hot! It is like an oven! Hope things will cools down soon for you. Take care x
Thank you Stella, really need that today, started, as soon as one got up.
Hope your doing well and onwards and upwards as we say.
Daughter in law, just gone cheered me up. did my eyebrows I cannot do them now, sad. or what, some thin so simple.
Good evening everyone
Finally sitting down after a busy day . Made good progress with arranging care for my Mum who has advanced dementia and still lives at home with my Dad . Navigating the care system is hard work, lots of different departments but not much joining up - I guess that’s also the experience for many of us too under different consultants for different things ……
Finished my 8 week mindfulness course today at our local Maggie’s centre, it’s been fab, the follow up is a monthly group meet up so that’s good news . Tinged with a bit of sadness as one of our group of 8 is very poorly and shared that he has stopped treatment and is now focusing on pain relief only . It felt a privilege to have met and spent time with such a lovely , funny and above all positive soul
Hoping Lec ‘s op has gone to plan today
Wishing everyone a restful night as it’s a bit cooler
Lots of love
Lucy xx
22 degrees at the moment after storms overnight, much nicer, having a beer at the allotment. Have a good evening everyone.

Hi Patrick
We have 16 degrees in Northern Ireland right now and due to drop to 12 tonight. A couple of days ago the temperature dropped here to 7.7 degrees overnight according to my min/max thermometer in my greenhouse. Lots of torrential rain today in sporadic periods, that's good for my plot but need sunshine too.
Hope it wasn't too hot for you Ellie, last thing you need?
