Good morning all
Just setting up a new chat thread for July. If you would like to catch up on June's chat you can click here. Please note that it's now locked, so you won’t be able to reply to that thread.
The chit chat thread is for:
Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!
Hiya Stella...good luck with ur chemo...glad ur blood work is spot on...u can snuggle now with Winston and relax
Sending hugs and much love
I’m ok thanks Stella
Winston appears to like watching the tennis upside down !!!
Yay glad your chemo has gone smoothly this week - obviously the key for you is Italian pasta and wine , keeps your neutrophil in check!!
You can have a couple of days now chilling and watching the tennis
It’s a lovely evening so thinking I might have a small chilled Sauvignon outside in a minute…

Hi Stella, just started to rain here and bring down the temperatures a bit. Hope you get over this cycle quickly and can soon start enjoying Wimbledon with a cocktail. What are your favourites?

Hi Jacquie, good that you took the plunge and decided to become active. It took me a while but the 'family' here is supportive and even forgiving sometimes in a way when we need a rant lol. Have a great evening with whatever is on offer, dogs, family, both?
Patrick xx
Hi Stella
Thank you for your welcome. A great photo of Winston
Good Luck with your chemo
I have my 2nd round of trial drug tomorrow it was delayed a week due to low neutrophils & Platletts fingers crossed for tomorrow
Take care

Favourite cocktails or tennis players?
Cocktails- Hugo or white port with tonic water. I am not much of a drinker really!
Tennis players : hope jack draper will do well and I like Alcaraz too as he is such a nice and decent young man with a great game.
I often get delay due to low neutrophil too. I figured may as well have a holiday/ week off every 2-3 cycles as the body won’t cooperate anyway. I am having two cycles then hopefully off to South Africa and Zambia for a safari. Chemo can wait!
Hope it all goes to plan tomorrow x
Hi Lucy
Winston used to watch and try to find the tennis ball when he was a kitten. Now he just lies in front of TV as he is still the centre of the attention.
Enjoy your delicious Sauvignon yum x
