Good morning all
Just setting up a new chat thread for July. If you would like to catch up on June's chat you can click here. Please note that it's now locked, so you won’t be able to reply to that thread.
The chit chat thread is for:
Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!
Glad you're ok for the safari Stella. I'm under the impression that a transfer of money can take 2 to 3 hours even though it shows that it has gone from one account, but to disappear for a couple of days is so very worrying. I'd be pulling whatever hair I have left out after 1 day! It's the stuff of nightmares, zapping money from 1 place to another.

it took 4 days in my case which is rather long. How are you and Mrs Keeping? When is the new grandchild due date? X
Hi Stella, that's too long, 4 days.
My bloods weren't good so back in 4 weeks, again to the Ulster Hospital instead of my local surgery. A couple of extra tests to be done. Mrs Tvman is still having toilet issues, seems like the bowel doesn't like to be disturbed and is taking revenge big time.
The new grandchild is to arrive around the 7th of January. At the next scan they need to decide whether or not they want to know the sex of the child. My son would like to know, my daughter in law doesn't therefore he's going to have to wait until the birth. It's called being married!!

Hiya TVman and Mrs TVman. Thanks for the compliment about the flowers. Sadly it was not my creation but a gift. Can’t take credit for something I didn’t make . Just posted the photo because it’s lovely and cheerful. Hope you are both keeping ok and enjoy the rest of the week. Love

Good afternoon
I think it is going to take quite sometime for the bowel be back to ‘normal’ after so much treatment especially if Mrs had radiotherapy is well. It can be very challenging indeed. I was left with a permanent stoma after my bowel cancer operation. It is actually quite easy to manage.
Grandchild in the new year sounds great and you don’t have to buy Christmas presents for the baby
Hi Angie and Lilly
Winston would also like to present some flowers for you.
Hope your treatment goes well tomorrow. X
Good luck with your treatment tomorrow Angie x

Hello everyone
Great news Stella , I sense a whole new wardrobe of safari attire could be on the cards ??!!
Hope all goes well for you on Friday Angie
I’ve been thinking about Eddie today , hope he’s doing ok …also Lec …
My kids will be home at the end of the month for the weekend so looking forward to that . I miss them but glad they are busy getting on with their careers and lives and in some ways I think it’s better that they are not here for every up and down of my treatment etc
Love to all
