Good morning everyone. Happy birthday to Chelle I am glad it didn't rain. I had a lovely birthday weekend. Thank you for all the birthday wishes. I have been called in for an emergency appointment on Wednesday morning with oncologist after my MRI and CT scan so feeling very scared. Anyway I am hoping for the best (fingers crossed).

Hi
I have been laying low as having the normal chemo fatigue. On top of that I have accidentally FT my dad ( who only speaks to me maybe once a year). He picked up my mum’s phone and straight away said that I look really fat and how can I get so fat!
It is rather nasty made me feel really low.
Then I realised he hasn’t said anything nice to me since I can remember and that is really sad too.
Sorry for the rant.
The app I used is called Waterlogue and maybe a small fee for it. I had it for years.
My favourite pic is the two cats ones
Alana : Lily would like her own watercolour painting no doubt.
Ellie : well Done just for making it to the garden. I will try to do it today too.
Lee2: fingers crossed for the consultation. Sometimes they just bring it forward because the result is out and there is a space.
Eddie : are you having a rest now from grandchild minding duty?
Have a restful evening x
Aarghh big hug to you Stella !
Someone said to me “oh you’ve put on weight” - I couldn’t stop thinking about it for about a week . It’s so hurtful and thoughtless when we are on treatment and already feel rubbish with fatigue, hair loss etc
Seems like you have a very close and loving relationship with your lovely Mum and of course Craig (and Winston too !) - put your Dad back in a box and leave him there !!
When are you due to go on your safari, I think you moved it back to the end of July didn’t you ?
We just booked a last minute trip to Greece next week , I’m feeling better than I was so decided to seize the day and go for it ! It’s nothing fancy but I’m looking forward to bobbing around in the lovely Aegean Sea and not doing much else !
I’m having a thin rib eye steak , green beans and carrots for dinner - yum, yum , not bad for a Monday I guess your taste buds might be a bit off post chemo ?
Hope you are enjoying the tennis , I’ve just watched Djokovic, he’s playing well
Lots of love
Lucy xx
