Good morning all everyone,
Just setting up a new chat thread for June. If you would like to catch up on May's chat you can click here. Please note that it's now locked, so you won’t be able to reply to that thread.
The chit chat thread is for:
Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!
Even having a laugh, that is a normal life, and we all have it.
If you have a special topic please start a new thread so people that wish to see it can, and can comment.
Thanks guys for all your good wishes.
Lucy, I wish some of the hair was mine lol.
Lee2, I hardly drink these days, 1 pint gets me giddy, but as I'm driving/taxi service, it will be just a sip to toast the happy couple.
Tvman, please give your son my best wishes for his interview, and it's great to hear your better half is feeling much better, no doubt being with family will help as well, and having your son and family closer to home will be fabit's a fab day for you all.

Very quiet today, hope that means everyone is content and enjoying Sunday as best they can. A cool 30 degrees here but with a slight breeze compared to 37 degrees forecast for mid-week. Wishing you all a good week ahead whatever you have planned or planned for you.

Hi eddie, hopefully you have been a witness to happy people starting married life and enjoyed the whole event - the rest is up to them I guess. Not sure what to do when the temperatures peak, not ever happened here for so long if the forecast is right. Fans in place and lots of cold drinks...

I'm not sure being married will change them much, they'll be up early today, mum will see to the six kids, dad will see to the livestock, but they do have a holiday on Tuesday to look forward too, Disney ney world for 18 days, with 5 of the kids, grandad gets ro look after the youngest , we had 41C last year, I went out early and late to walk the dogs, and never left the house in between, not even to be curious how it felt, good luck.

Good morning
Not done much over the weekend, too warm! Had friends over for morning coffee and tea. They bought some lovely pastries and it is nice to catch up on the gossips.
Very warm again today 35C is possible.
Hope everyone is keeping cool and good hydration.
Hi everyone, this is ellie's daughter, she would like you all to know she is home, and managing ok, although a little slower than before.
She hopes everyone is doing well, Mum has lost some memory and sight so she can reply but it maybe slower or muddled.
Mum suffered a seizure and the tumour she had removed from her brain last year has bleed, hence the memory loss.
The oncologist that was looking after her has also found a tumour in her heart, for which the cardiologist has said no operation.
Life just keeps throwing her curve balls, only twice in 20 years has the oncology team seen this tumour.
As ever her first thoughts was her McMillian family and how they are all doing, there will be a mdt meeting for her today but we will not know the outcome until we see oncology mid July.
Please excuse any messages that come through muddled she will be trying her best.
sending love to you all x
Thank you for letting us know, we have all been worried about Ellie. We will be here ready to welcome her back with a very gentle hug, but only when she is ready. Xx
