Even having a laugh, that is a normal life, and we all have it.
If you have a special topic please start a new thread so people that wish to see it can, and can comment.
It looks beautiful Stella, but I would be biased anyway as Italy is in my blood. My family are from a small town called Settefrati. A cousin still lives in our old family home that my 2x great grandfather lived in, it is very beautiful in the mountains x
Morning everyone
Just sitting here feeling fairly rubbish (onc appointment later in week thank goodness) but also thinking how lucky am I to have so many comforts in my life including my lovely pots which bring me joy . Loving my hydrangeas particularly this morning which have flourished from small plants . The cosmos in the foreground I have grown from seed and is absolutely shooting up but no flowers yet - my hubby says I’m too impatient !!
It’s going to be a scorcher here today, hope everyone has a chance to sit in the shade and enjoy some fresh air
Love to all
Lucy
Sorry you are not feeling well Lucy. Hopefully the oncologist will come up with a good plan this week.
I also find looking at my flower pots makes me happy and cheers me up.
Your flowers looking great xx
The flowers are beautiful Lucy. I hope you get some help from the oncology appointment x
Hi Lucy, so sorry you are feeling rubbishy today, let's hope you feel better soon.
Sitting looking at flowers will raise your spirits. I don't think hydrangeas get a fair deal because they're fantastic and every year brings a plethora of new varieties. Cosmos are lovely flowers but they don't usually flower until July and can look quite sparse unless they're grown closely together. I also grew them from seed for a couple of years but was disappointed when July came and I had no blooms whereas many other bedding plants were flowering profusely from the end of May. I'm afraid to say that I don't grow them from seed anymore.
Enjoy the warmth and the view Lucy. I have a granddaughter called Lucy and she is so adorable.
Take care
Tvman x
Hi Lucy, I'm sorry to read you are not so good but I hope your onc can sort that out on Friday for you!
your flowers are amazing. I too have Hydrangeas but they are climbing ones and boy do they climb. It would be good it you put your photos in the Garden & Gardening 2025 Thread because I'm sure others would love to see them. Mine started in a small pot and now it covers half of a large fence! Good luck for Friday!
Love Annette x
