  • Hi

Hope you will get to David Austin roses this weekend. I am going to Peter beales rose garden centre next week with my mum. Just browsing! Rofl

Hope your treatment goes ahead and the effects are tolerable.

Eddie hope your procedures go smoothly and they treat you well at the hospital.

Ellie sorry you are a bit down recently.
Here is a bunch of sweet Williams for you. They don’t have white ones at the grocery store.

  • Aw Ellie , I don’t like hearing you are down , you are such a trooper

I’ve been down this week too , still haven’t had my scan results, been chasing , apparently a big back log not helped by half term . I have symptoms which makes me worry even more

I’m supposed to be going away for 4 nights next week with my daughter and now thinking stuff it I’m just going to go , I have a consultant appointment the following week , the scan news can wait until then .

I’m lucky to get the chance to get away and feel well enough to go so I need to seize the day !!

Do you see your kids regularly Ellie ? Mine are both 200 miles away so they can’t just pop in

  • Hi Lucy

Sorry to hear you are worrying about your scan result. I say stuff it and go on holiday with your daughter next week. The scan result is just a data point to help planning the next step. It is already what it is so thinking about it is not going to change anything.
I have my CT scan booked next week. I could had it earlier but choose to delay it so I don’t have the result before my holiday with my mum. Sweat smile

  • Hi Lucy, go for it, will cheer you up no doubt.

  • Sorry to break in to this thread....just Ellie, I think, asked earlier if anyone had heard from the Bee Man? Or seen any posts?

I've been wondering the same about Minmax and Starlady....haven't seen any posts from them for a while. Is anyone in touch with them?

    Hope everyone is OK!

And best wishes to anyone who isn't feeling at their best today.....hope tomorrow is better!

    xxxx Kate

  • Hi, I've noticed that too but I thought the unwritten rule is we can only support active members and hope for the best when someone goes off radar, for whatever reason?

    Patrick xx

  • Hi Gilpat

I'm not sure it's a definite 'rule', exactly. I know people often choose to stop posting, for lots of different reasons. I just feel concerned, that's all. It's hard when you've chatted with people for a long time!

I agree, the best thing to do is keep supporting the active members!
