A Sad Message about Ulls

To all of Ulls friends in the 'Living with Incurable Cancer community.

have just heard from Ulls' wife that Ulls passed away on Tuesday 6th May at 6:50am. He passed away comfortably in a Hospice.

I have known Ulls since I was diagnosed nearly 4 years ago. He has/had a great character and I feel special to have had the opportunity to know him. I know Ulls supported Sunderland, but I can't hold that against him.

I managed to get Ulls to join the Maggies' Prostate Support Group in Newcastle with me. Ulls was there for me in some of my low moments and also there to share in some better moments. Myself and my partner Tracey will miss him, as will a lot of you in the Macmillan Prostate forum.

I don't think i have stopped crying since I heard the news.

Morning Steve, We have the Lovely Morning Chit Chat thread, which is pretty much the same, It's been going for a long time too, I'm all to familiar with the naughty step too lol.

This is a massive thank you to all of the "Living with Incurable Cancer" forum for all the kind messages about Ulls.

Ulls did say that you were an amazing group. I was lucky to have been given the permission from Macmillan to post about Ulls.

Don't know how much longer I will be able to post in your forum.

Ulls was lucky to have you all as friends!

Oh! I am so sorry to read this. Thank you so much for letting us know. Ulls - one of the originals when I joined. Pragmatic, and on occasion, funny. Condolences to his family.

I also remember him sharing the story here about how he started going to the group in Newcastle.

So sorry to hear about Ulls. Like Mmum, I don't drop into the forum that often, and was so sad to read this news today.

Ulls was one of the 'regulars', who kept everyone's spirits up, and I know he will be missed by many on here who have been friends for a long time.

Condolences to his family and friends, and thanks Stevecam for posting.
