  • That's good to hear my friend, and I hope everything goes well on Wednesday for you, I  do have a very occasional beer, and you have to keep hydrated and your bladder happy in this warm weather, my treatment and tests tomorrow, with results next Tuesday, so good luck to both of us, and maybe a beer.

  • Hello Angie and Lilly

Winston is doing well. he is a bit worked up with all the birds in the garden. Craig has been away so no one is up at 6ams to play with him. He has been scratching my doors and getting very impatient around 7am.

I had my chemo today so just resting now. Hope your blood level is good and get your treatment on Friday.

One of my bowel cancer friend had very bad news today. She and I were both diagnosed with stage 3 cancer about the same time in 2020. She also received her incurable diagnosis last year, just a few months ahead of me. But devastatingly, she had a very bad CT result and showing progression everywhere. Very sad for her, but also selfishly feel sad for myself. Fearing it would be me soon. Just hope I can get to my safari.

Anyhow, try not to worry too much and enjoy the sun Sunny️.

    Love Stella & Winston xx

  • Hi everyone

Had bloods taken this morning and I'll find out how poor they are on Thursday. Eight weeks ago was the last time and they were very poor. Red cells low, as usual, neutrophils highly elevated-usually low and platelets quite low. I have bone marrow cancer and it looks like my bone marrow is failing (confirmed by haematologist).

    Fingers crossed Fingers crossed

    Love life and family.
  • Hiya Stella, try not to get too much downbeat. I know it’s easy to say but we are all more or less in the same boat here. You have seen some of the amazing uplifting results folk have had when they thought the tide was against them. Never give up my love. We are all here for you when you need us, come hail, rain or sunshine. Big hug to you and Winston and all our love

  • Good evening to you. I am really sorry to see what you have written. Hopefully your Consultation on Thursday will give you a more upbeat picture than you see right now. Yes you are so right, love life and make the best of every day. Thinking of you and Mrs TVman and sending virtual hugs to you both from

  • Hi

I am sorry to hear your blood is not doing well recently. Really hope the consultation on Thursday will be better than you anticipated.

Are you able to enjoy the garden recently? Hope the weather is good for the next few days x

  • Hi Patrick

Glad you are back on immunotherapy on Wednesday. Hopefully not too much side effects this round for you. X
