Even having a laugh, that is a normal life, and we all have it.
If you have a special topic please start a new thread so people that wish to see it can, and can comment.

Had a phone call yesterday afternoon from the Ulster hospital in Belfast asking me if I could go today for an MRI scan this afternoon. It's a scan of my head, I think it's a follow up to the last time I was hospitalised because my legs wouldn't hold me and I was dropping like a stone but I'm not 100% sure. I'll find out later.
Yes it's a Saturday but she said that they're trying to catch up on appointments. We had no government for a couple of years, on top of Covid, and we have the longest waiting lists in the UK. Not something to shout from the rooftops, bit embarrassing really.

Hi tvman, I think everyone's trying to catch up my friend, this can't be a totally unexpected scan, reading your history, I would think it's been in the pipeline, someone's cancelled, and you've been brought forward, I always ask to fill in if someone else cancels, it's surprisingly common, my very best wishes to you my friend, I will have everything crossed for a smooth day today and good news with the results.. No government for 2 years, I wish we never had one, what a bunch of lying Bs..

Only lasted 15 minutes probably because it was only a head MRI. Lots of loud clanking noises and metal banging and scraping and I managed to fall asleep
Results in 4 weeks. Forgot to ask which doctor asked for it, probably because I fell asleep and didn't have my wits about me.

Well done falling asleep, with all that noise going on, and all the best with the results my friend, will you plan anything while you wait for results, or take them in your stride, and your referring doctors name should be on your results letter/email when you get them.
Eddie xx
Honestly, I couldn't believe it myself, falling asleep. I've just told my daughter that I was trying to find a pattern to the noises and that's how I went over. It was better than counting sheep lol.
I'll just take the results in my stride, nothing else will get me ready for them. I don't think I will get anything resolved. Apart from the collapsing, I was tested for early onset dementia because I sometimes can't remember going places recently or on my way home from somewhere and it suddenly hits me that I don't recognise any of the houses or twists and turns.
I'm now going to go out and close the greenhouse door and have a quick look around to see if all's well with my plot. I was across the road in the field this morning, transplanting French green beans and I did a little weeding etc while I was there. After the greenhouse it'll be time to watch the champions league final.
Hope you have a pain free night and you get a good sleep. I don't sleep well because of my back pain and elbow pain. I've had 4 operations on my elbows and after a while of not moving my arms my elbows are unbelievably stiff. Seems like cutting the ends has caused a lot of arthritis to enter the joints. It's similar to a rusty gate that hasn't opened for years.
Gotta go now Eddie, look after yourself please
