Good morning all everyone,
Just setting up a new chat thread for May. If you would like to catch up on April's chat you can click here. Please note that it's now locked, so you won’t be able to reply to that thread.
The chit chat thread is for:

Even having a laugh, that is a normal life, and we all have it.
If you have a special topic please start a new thread so people that wish to see it can, and can comment.
Hiya Patrick, it is raining intermittently and very, very windy. I am having a cosy afternoon with Lilly. Tiredness is a pesky companion at the best of time. I really have to find a way to combat my poor sleep at night. Tried about everything and no luck. Back to the drawing board . Of course binge watching a series called Water Rats doesn’t help. Who would have thought that there are so many bodies and body part floating in and around Sydney Harbour
( fictional of course) . Anybody interested in a Crime series (7 seasons) it’s on Amazon. Free with Prime. Right time to get a pick me up
love Angie and Lilly xxx p
Evening Ellie, roast dinners are one of my absolute favourites, hope you enjoyed it!! I always make too much but think leftovers the following day can be even better.
Congratulations to your grandson, what a lovely surprise.
The weather here is deceiving the sky is still clear blue but it has gotten quite cold.
Have a peaceful evening

Good evening
I went to a flower farm for PYO and it was lovely but very windy day for it. Made up 3 vases of flowers from it for the house. Nice to have seasonal flowers in the house.
Hope Ellie , Lucy, and Angie are feeling more rested and energetic today. Congratulations to your grandson Ellie.
Winston has been inspecting the flowers by biting them. He seems approve .
Glad you have left the pity party Patrick!
Eddie did you go to Mandy’s for lunch today?
what are everyone up to ?
You love your flowers, Stella, they always look lovely, you need to work in a florist shop, you would be in your element.
I am wiped out, onwards and upwards as we sy.
Hi Stella, they look beautiful, you do such lovely arrangements, and sorry for not saying sooner what good news about your mum!
I'm having a quiet restful day/evening having joined some of the others in the pity party and fatigued today, but did manage to pop out for a dog walk which perked me up a bit.
Happy to have chance of a re-do tomorrow which I hope will be brighter for all.
Peaceful evening all
Marie xx
Lovely flowers, your arrangements are always eye catching Stella

Hi Lucy, sounds like you had a good time yesterday. Most of us on here are no spring chickens anymore and dealing with treatments, hospitals and the illness itself is challenging indeed but we all find our own pace and techniques to deal with it. I went for a little walk, got soaked through and was pleased when I got home again. Have a nice relaxing evening.
Patrick xx
