Good morning all everyone,

Just setting up a new chat thread for May. If you would like to catch up on April's chat you can click here. Please note that it's now locked, so you won’t be able to reply to that thread.

The chit chat thread is for:

Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!

Even having a laugh, that is a normal life, and we all have it.

If you have a special topic please start a new thread so people that wish to see it can, and can comment.

  • Morning Fleabane, welcome to the who's who club, note's galore for me as well, I've never been good with street or pub names, now on treatment it's people's as well, and I have started doubting myself more and more even  when I know I'm right.

My new feathery lodgers are very happy and welcome, it's good to have chickens back on the allotment and a few ducks too, yours are looking well, and what a lovely coop they have, and coming out of lockdown soon as well, after your wonderful holiday, is that this month and where too?, we're off to Kalamata next Wednesday, for a week, but hopefully a little longerGrinning, Sheila says HI back at you, enjoy your day

    love Eddie and Sheila xx

  • Hi L, you are very welcome, and it sounds like you've a lovely day planned, so no ironing for a long time if you live anywhere near me, lol.

    Eddie xx

  • Kalanata , Peloponnese how fabulous . I love Greece . Mostly visited the islands over the years but been to the Peloponnese once over 40 years ago with a friend. Much shenanigans so I’m now smiling at those memories but also cringing at the risks we took as carefree teenagers…..eek !

  • Good morning Eddie...we're of to Pembrokeshire next week to stay in my favourite victorian castle right by the sea..

Phoebe my puppy hasn't been to the seaside yet so I am so excited for her

I haven't been to Greece myself but hubby goes climbing on some island there each year

I am not good with hot places..lol..true English rose I am..wither when too hot lol

Right off for a small walk in the back fields with hubby and puppy

Hope u have a great day, whatever mischief ur up to

    Smile

  • Hi L, young and invulnerable, I remember, how so many of us made it to 30 is a mystery, this will be my first time to the Med and I'm going with 2 aunties who are both 81 and I can tell you there will be plenty of shenanigans going on, I'm just there to try and keep them in check, fat chance, lol. their the oldest teenagers in Scotland.

I hope your day went just as you'd hoped, there are a handful of guys on here who adore being on the beach or just by the beach, I think I've visited 179 in Britain, so how wonderful or you to live on the coast.

    Eddie

  • Really pleased to see you've got some new chickens Eddie! They are fun to watch, apart from supplying eggs!
