Ah I don’t have apple, that’s why I haven't heard of it x 

The Lord of the Rings movie that she's in is The Hunt For Gollum, it'll be another prequel that comes out late next year, and will have several actors from the original movies in it as well.

I watch too many movies, and TV shows these days, but I do think I'd be a good critic. I'll be sure to let my mom know that we can start Cape Fear.

We are watching crow girl on paramount +. There are 2 seasons both available to watch now. It is a crime drama starring Eve Myles and Katherine Kelly. Katherine Kelly is superb as a psychiatrist who is assisting the police with recent murders. The twist in this drama is a real shocker, I’m a real life miss Marple and have usually worked out the who done it before the reveal, but this was a real omg moment. Not for the faint hearted, but if you like a psychological drama then this is a good one. 

I have seen this advertised Chelle will watch after Billions.  It looks good.

After I read your post about Crow Girl, I was going to add it to our list, but unfortunately it's only on Paramount + in the UK and Ireland. It's only available on something called Acorn TV here in the US, and there's only one season available on there. Hopefully it'll make its way to Paramount + in the US at some point and we'll be able to watch it.

Oh that’s a shame Stacy. You won’t want to watch just the first series, it ends on such a cliff hanger, best to wait until you can watch them both x 

I really like Billions too. It does get a bit silly on the later series. Have you watched succession on sky/ HBO? If you like billions, you will like Succession too.

We are watching cape fear, but find the children of the lawyers infuriating, lots of self inflating problems.

i’ve only just got into this group but have been around other fora for a few months - just coming up to a year since diagnosis…

There are some great suggestions on here!  I do try to keep busy and am so old-fashioned that I only watch TV in the  evenings!!

Our house is excited to see that the latest Ted Lasso is starting this coming week!! (Sorry to those who don’t have Apple TV) .

A current BBC 1 favourite is Ann Droid - this first episode is a bit slow but it really gets started from No2 onwards.  Very quirky but very poignant as well.

Also on Apple is a series called Home which features a unique home designed by an architect who may be the homeowner as well. It shows how the home becomes part of the landscape (be it natural or urban) and how the thought process works.  I find it fascinating but I am a retired architect!!  One episode even showed how simple homes could be “printed “ on site! A bit niche but fascinating.

i am also a big music fan so absolutely adore Jools Holland’s Later with show on BBC2 - and there are plenty on iPlayer archive.
