Hi folks
This is my first post using my new username. I was given the nickname Puddock by Eddiel many moons ago, so I've decided it should be my new username. Unfortunately, I lost Candy a few days ago after a short illness, so it felt too upsetting to be known as Candysmum. She was a lovely companion for nearly 13 years, and had a fantastic life living here, with beaches and forests to run in. I hope to find a new companion soon....an older dog needing a new home. Otherwise, I won't get any exercise!
Best wishes to everyone
Puddock
So sorry to hear about your loss Puddock. One of my biggest worries is what will happen to my four dogs when I am gone. I dont have children and these dogs are my babies, the reason I get up and go for a walk every day. When the time is right a dog will come to you. Sending hugs.

Same here Lee, I don't have any children or grandchildren either, so dogs have always been part of my life. I agree, another will come along if it is 'right'. In the meantime, I'm keeping busy being involved in a 'befriender' charity, and I can walk my husband's dogs (we don't live together) if I feel I need to exercise.
Your dogs sound lovely! It's good to have a pack to play with!

So sorry to hear about your dog Puddock. Candy had a fantastic life with lots of love and fun. Hope you will meet your new companion soon. I have no children but have Winston the Siberian forest cat as my fur baby.
