Hi Eddie
Not too good. Have been in hospital since last Saturday - under performing kidneys, dehydration, low electrolytes, allergic reaction to some of the oral meds. After fixing all that I finally came home late last night. We've (doctor & I) decided to delay next cycle by a week, stop the chemo but carry on with the Phesgo to see if I cope better with it. (Fingers crossed). Fit as a fiddle now so I am off to Waitrose and take my car for a run.
Awww sweety, you have had it rough, I'm so sorry to hear this, though it's good to hear the stay in hospital has hopefully got on top of things, and isn't getting home wonderful. I will have everything crossed your treatment alteration goes well for you and you feel good for some time yet. I love Waitrose too, especially their Danish pastries and trifle, Sheila and I r just going out for a drive, to a pub in Derbyshire for lunch and to walk the dogs, Enjoy your run out and shopping my friend.

Thanks Eddie
Yes I am almost back to normal and shopping felt great! I even managed lunch for my husband & son - turkey & ham salad with mustard mayonnaise on ciabatta rolls. Plans to cook chicken curry and cauliflower & potato curry this weekend too.
Hope your trip out was good too

Hi Sledge, normal sounds fab, and a little retail therapy always helps, It must be lovely to have your son back for a few days, and well done cooking for them, I always get the family to help me prep meals, it's been a little cool here for salad, but we had a lovely scampi and squid dish in Clowne, the Half Moon, and got lots of lovely paste's, sauces and dressings at Wellbeck on the way home. Curry's are fab, I will have to try cauli and potato, if you share your recipe, my fave is egg and apple, enjoy your cooking my friend and remember the chef doesn't do the dishes.
happy Easter to you and your family.
