Morning Eddie and Mandy. Enjoy your stint in the sunshine. Don’t think I shall do the same, 4 degrees here butt supposed to climb up to 7 this afternoon. Bigger chance of getting frostbite than a tan
. Poppy with you or is she still at her second home? Look after yourself and don’t do too much too soon. No word about my scan result so far, so looking at next week for the results . Well as the saying goes ‘no news is good news’. Lilly has gone under the blanket for a nap and I shall have one too shortly. Virtual Hug for whoever wants or needs one
love Angie and Lilly xx
Hi Angie, sorry I took so long to reply, It was lovely sat outside in the sun, you had to get out of the wind, which wasn't nice, Mandy's been in and out all day with her boys, their school is an hour round trip, and she offers the school her services when needed, so just Poppy and me for most of the day.
I'm sure you'll get some warmer weather soon, and Lilly and you will have your time in the garden too, Lesley gets her scan tomorrow, and we've been told, the results within 7 days, so chemo can start 1 to 3 weeks later, best wishes with your results my friend and I hope you both enjoyed your naps, no energy to do much Angie, but I do feel ok, as I hope you do as well.
love Eddie xx
Hi Eddie, I can’t believe it was warm enough to sit in the garden!! Lucky you! The sun was out here, in between showers but it was freezing. We went out for lunch to a local Garden Centre which is always nice. I still had some Gift Vouchers from Christmas so the lunch was my treat and I even bought some Pollyanthus and Primula. When we got home, I changed and planted them in the garden but I had 4 layers of clothing on plus a fleece. Vince got changed too, into his PJ’s and slept for 7 hours, I made him toast & coffee and he fell asleep again and is still in the land of Nod I’m so jealous! I hope everyone has a great day and a fantastic weekend.. I went out to the bin a short while ago and the lid was frozen solid! Brr!
Love Annette x
Morning Annette, it was lovely to sit outside, Mandys garden is a sun trap with high hedges all around, so it's safe for her boys, but it also keeps the wind off, I did go out for a massage, ironically also a Christmas present, and had to wrap up well, it's good to hear you both got out, and to the garden centre for lunch which is fab, especially if there's a farm shop there as well, Oh Annette, fancy planting out when there's going to be a frost, I hope they have a little protection from it, and hope you managed some sleep, please say hi to Anne for me, I feel good today, and will be off to see Lesley soon, with urology later, and lunch/card craft with friends.
love Eddie xx

Good morning everyone,
It is very cold here today and frosty 0 degrees. I am going to take the dogs for a walk in the woods. I had a scan yesterday which I always get anxious about even though it doesnt hurt. Yesterday I found a large hard lump in my thigh. I dont know whether I should leave it and tell them next Friday at the hospital about it as that is when I get my denosumab injection and chemo tablets. Has anyone else found this kind of thing? I googled it and shouldnt have, scared myself silly. Hope everyone has a good day x.

Morning all beautiful sunny day cold though. Getting anxious about scans is normal I think for everyone, at least it’s done . I’m. I not sure about the lump you’ve found best to ask when you see someone Google is a curse but we are all guilty of using it . I’m about to tackle that cleaning I keep putting off have a good weekend everyone I’m off to London for two nights tomorrow x Chris
Good evening everyone
Not much happening here. I had my chemo pump disconnected today. Just feeling tired but not much else.
There are some spring flowers popping up. So I had picked a couple for the house.
Eddie hope you are resting up at Mandy’s place. Hope Leslie is recovering well and ready for the chemo treatment.
Lee 1 : thinking of you. Hope you are improving.
Alana and others waiting for your scan results: I am also waiting for my first scan results after the 6 cycle of chemo. Hope everyone have a positive report.
