  • Morning all,  its cold here, no sun.  I was thinking of popping into work today to see all my lovely work friends.  Can I ask if anyone has asked for a SR1 form how long it took.  I am trying to get ill health retirement from work and they have mentioned it.

  • Hi Tricia

    Hope your doing well.

Finished radiotherapy just over week ago, had oncologist last week, being put on a target, therapy,  as i have a gene mutein, went for  CT y scan Saturday, I am worn out lol.

Though still here to moan about it,

  • Morning, mostly properly drain, as it is doing some thing, and you might not real realise, this moment in time.

It gets you out for a little while.

Sun is out full here, makes one fill a bit brighter, though not gardening weather, well not for me anyway.

I am  taking it at snails pace today.

  • Ellie well i must say that i am very glad you are. What is targeted therapy? What gene mutation is a problem. have they explained it all to you.? Has the radio theapy helped in any way? xx

  • Hi all around 3am I was blue lighted into hospital with an enlarged stomach, my cancer is the problem it's producing a liquid,, which has build my peritoneame I look like I'm 9 month pregnant it's very painful and disabling, I'm lying on a trolley waiting of them to find me a bed so that they can drain the liquid from my belly.

  • Dear Ulls, my thoughts are with you and your loved ones. Hopefully they will find a bed for you soon and get the fluid drained. Love from
