Lovely morning chit-chat thread October 2024

Hi all ! I couldn't even get out of bed so I didn't know,  my lack of sleep is catching me up, hope you all have a good day 

Hi Sleep is what your body needs, I m going to bed, earlier than I have ever done.

Think I will get a butler,  then I will not have to get up, and my food and drink will be brought to me, how lovely.

I didn't get out in the garden....my husband gave me a lift to the hardware shop so I could buy a new curtain track and some wood. My car is too small to transport anything! Apart from the dog, of course.

I love Autumn too, especially quiet days like this, without any winds.

That’s the most important load  x oh sounds like some diy is being done! Why do we insist on doing it near Christmas?? X 

Hi Hnickkie, so sorry you've had the flu, as if you don't have enough to deal with already, lovely to hear your through it and up to walking Toby, I bet you both enjoyed that 

That's great news your appointment is so soon, have you met the colorectal surgeon before? I had a PSA blood test yesterday and got the results today, maybe this is the new norm LOL.

It's dark now, depressing, and still 8 weeks of lessening daylight, doesn't bare thinking about, your just weird LOL, but  thank you I did enjoy my gardening and would have enjoyed it  more if it hadn't got dark so early, at least it made you happy.

Well   a grey, miserable, day, dark , and night time at 4.30 all lights on, what ti like and we start November soon what a thought.

Hi Lee, I'm up at dawn now to get the most daylight i can, will be volunteering at the hospice tonight, just a hour, then maybe an early night, On my own tonight, Sheila's with her family.
