Yes its not easy, he never told me, i5ll after I had, had my op.
He has not even started treatment yet.
Its a head and neck cancer, though cannot find the primary. All scans where good, so last week in for robotic biopsies of mouth.
Took tonsils out and samples, from, roof mouth, tongue, lip, throat. And few more.
Hence not eaten or been able to drink a think all that time, and being diabetic not good.
All sent to test you, to your limits, hope your brother has a smooth, journey.
Sorry i am not to bad, though very frustrated, not seeing things, though i got a letter today, from Mr M at London Hospital.
He has written to my eye clinic here us Essex, to see if they can do the cataract surgery sooner, for the other eye, here is hoping.
Though my trip out Friday i conquered it, was so pleased, and never run any one over with the trolley, a bonus, lol
Hi Ellie, sounds like your little brother didn't want you worrying about him, I can understand that.
Poor lads having a hard time, though their being thorough which is good and that's a lot of biopsies, I hope they give his team the answers they need to begin treatment, I know head & neck cancer covers many Cancers and will have everything crossed for a good diagnosis, so sorry to hear he's diabetic and hasn't been eating, not good as you say, and may be an issue when it comes to treatment, please give him my best wishes when you talk to him.
love Eddie xx
Hi again Ellie, not surprised your frustrated, I know I would be, your patience is amazing, and hopefully your consultants letter will speed up things at your eye clinic
Must have felt great to get out of the house, I would think you were a little nervous but amazing you never hit anyone with the trolley, what a missed opportunity, there's always next time, LOL. I'm pleased your doing ok my friend
love Eddie xx
LOL I was a bit hesitant I must say, i just kept saying give way to the right, lol as thats the side i have lost, even my sister was surprised, so she went of and let me get on with it.
I talk to myself, when trying to do something, this is going to be a challenge, and the next big one is cutting my grass, but have worked out a plan, i do hate to be beaten, stubborn or what, but paid of so far, though if i fail, and electrocute myself, the plan has failed lol lol
Wow Ellie, your sister must have been impressed by you to leave you you be, did that give you confidence or make you a little nervous for a while, you passed your trolley test either way.
Nothing wrong with talking to yourself, if it helps, why not, I only talk to myself when I'm telling myself off for making a mistake and not quietly either. Well Ellie, are you going to share your plan for cutting the lawn, i hope it includes having someone with you as a safety net, and try not to electrocute yourself, you don't want another weird hairstyle LOL, meant to be a dry sunny week, perfect for cutting the grass, but please be careful.
Eddie xx
Hi Ellie, Do you have a neighbour who could cut the grass for you? This will most likely be the last cut of the season anyway, so ask for help and you can do it all by yourself next season!
It is too dark too early already and the clocks have just moved! I hate having to close the blinds early, it makes the night seem so long! I am learning to crochet, so that should keep me busy when the tv is rubbish or repeats!
I wonder what everyone else gets up to in the dark nights! Like new hobbies etc???
Love Annette x
