  • Good for you Ellie, you are truly wonderful how you deal with your trials and tribulations. Hopefully your eye surgery will make things easier again for you. It can be that long away now. Stay cosy and enjoy the rest of the day

  • Good morning Ellie,  WOW,  going out that's a big plus with your recovery, not surprised you're excited,  I hate not getting out for a day, don't know how you managed a month, have a wonderful time with your sister and buy yourself lots of treats, and please be careful..

  • afternoon Ellie, grand you are getting out for a bit of retail therapy today. I am just back from my hospital appointment with a very tender posterior  Joy. The injections are getting rather painful now,  a couple of days not being very cosy sitting are guaranteed. Small price to pay if one looks at the wider pictureThumbsup. Wishing everybody a cosy evening and as nice a weekend as possible.

  • Yes retail therapy, was a bit of normality.

I did not do to bad, just remembered ,  to give way to   traffic, coming from the right.  lol

  • Oooh Angie, that sounds uncomfortable, but not unexpected, and I'm sure you have a coping mechanism.I use a pressure relieving cushion, anyway all done till next time, and thank you for your good wishes, our last day tomorrow and home Sunday, back to reality, best wishes for a quick recover and sitting comfortably soon.

  • Evening Ellie, a lot to be said for normal, it's underrated, good to hear you had a nice time though I will never understand how shopping can be enjoyable, I have a friend goes to Dunelm every weekend for hours, I'll never understand women,
