Ellie you could do dog sitting and get paid for having a dog in your home, I know what you mean about leaving a dog behind should anything happen to you. I got Poppy knowing she would outlive me, so whenever I,m away from home for whatever reason, she stops at a friends, someone she loves as much as me, so she will be fine when the time comes,
Hi Eddie
I can't send pics from my phone...could explain why, but it would take too long! I think I know how to download them into my laptop, but it's difficult. However, all being well some of my family are coming up next week for a short visit, so I can get some tech help then!
I should have been born 200 years ago, think I'd have been happier! I can operate weaving looms and gardening tools!
Hope the holiday is going OK, and you are getting fed!

Evening Eddie, grand you have it all sorted for Poppy. It’s a load of one’s mind if our beloved pets are going to a place they love. Had my bloods done today so will know tomorrow if they are good enough to get injections and tablets on Friday. Solicitors appointment tomorrow morning for my Power of Attorney. High time it is getting sorted. I have been dragging my feet on that for too long. It was a lovely day here with sunshine and just a bit of wind. Popped round to Laura’s after the docs for lunch. Christine is still away in Singapore for work but is home in London on Sunday. She is planning a long weekend trip home over the next few weeks. It will be lovely to have her back home for a few days. Wishing you and everyone on this chat a good nights rest and as good as possible day tomorrow
love Alana and Lilly xxx
