So today I see consultant about the cancer margin rising. I've already had to phone calls of 2 different people. One says my scans will go to some team to look at all previous scans to see if the new little tumour has always been there and they havnt noticed it. Even tho I've been having scan for 2 yr.if the tumour is new i need different medication. Then consultant rings and says just stay on medication you on that's before any team has even looked at scans. This takes me back to when it all started and I had all the scans and waited 8 long months for a diagnosis . Who do I listen to the consultant or the consultant pharmacist who i always see. And they wonder why people get so anxious all the time . I don't no if I'm coming or going x
.Hi Bev It is difficult to know how to respond to your post but if it was me, I would contact the Team I had been seeing to ask them to explain all this so.i can understand what is going on with my treatment! If I didn’t get a satisfactory answer, I would ask my GP!
Who is your oncologist? Plea,. se let me know how you get on!.
Love Annette x
Morning . I seen the phymasist i did ask to see consultant but you don't get to choose who you see. I didnt really get an answer to the cancer margin question but he said the little new piece they found the mdt and my consultant have looked at my last years scans and it's always been there i asked why it has not been mentioned before he said it can cone down to the way you lay on the scan bed as you don't always lay in same place .I found that a very strange answer but who am I to disagree eh. Im more confused today than when I was yesterday to be honest. It's made sense yday but thinking now it just seems far fetched unless it's my mind working overtime. Anyway I stay on same meds and the big rash on my neck is a side effect of the meds to show they are working . Now I'm taking my friend the hospital as she has broke her shoulder few weeks ago and is still no better so another head busting day ahead. Thanypu for asking about me it means lot .take care xx
