3 weekly “I hope”…..

Hi Hnickkie I just finished a chemo session in June of 6 x 3 week sessions and missed 2 or 3 weeks due to low blood count , Is that immunetherapy you are having ? . Hope it all goes well . All the Best Minmax 

Hi Hnickkie, Good luck with the bloods. My veins hide when they see a needle now. I have a Rule; 3 strikes and you are out! I think if they can’t get blood after 3 tries, they are not going to get it at all, so I give someone else a try! I hope it all goes smoothly!

Enjoy your break to Somerset and Happy Anniversary when it comes! My husband and I are going away for our Anniversary which is on 2 October, we leave on 27th! I couldn’t do this rollercoaster ride without some breaks when we can!

Hiya Hnickkie, sorry  not allowed chemo so not much help only if you get a good nurse see if it's possible for your appointments to coincide with them being on duty, have a wonderful time in Somerset I hope your furry friend is going as well, it's a beautiful county, and many congratulations to you both on your 25th anniversary, PS we are hoping to get married on the 30th October if things go well, wish hubby a happy birthday from me

yes I’m now on immunotherapy which started in February after 7 months of chemotherapy, I can’t believe that for over 1 year I have received cancer treatment (first chemotherapy then straight onto immunotherapy) every 3 weeks!! My immunotherapy will continue until next spring! My poor body is battered lol but I’m stable for now and that’s what matters, it all went smoothly thank you x x

i think I should try that rule loll I feel like a pin cushion sometimes. But everything went fine bloods were good and infusion went ok, just my pesky blood pressure a bit off but that’s being monitored. I’m so looking forward to the break away :o) and I’ve read warm weather is back on its way so yayyy x oh your anniversary is the day before my birthday! Have a fab break x

My Toby boy is being taken care of as my daughter works is a kennel and rescue centre, how’s that for convenient! Oh I love Somerset we’ve been going for years and it brings back so many amazing holidays of yesteryear’s when the kids were little. We now just relax,fish on the lakes,read,go out for dinner but I still love a trip to western and an ice cream on the beach :o) I really hope your nuptials go ahead and congratulations! Thank you for the birthday wishes I’ll pass those on x

As you can see i get insomnia loll . Yeah I try and go about my life with an attitude that cancer will not rule it as I’m in charge of my life but then….., week 3 comes along with the bloods , consultations and infusion and I hate the reminder that nope you do not have a “normal” life you have cancer loll it can just bring me down a notch especially as with my hair regrowth (and a cracking haircut) I’m starting to look like the old me ! But I definitely don’t feel like the old me but hey ho that’s the cards I’m dealt and I’m not gonna fold :o) x x 

Hi Hnickkie, I too am having BP problems! To see my GP on Friday next week about it! Then we are off the following Friday! Are you doing anything special to celebrate your birthday? We go away every year for our anniversary. Enjoy whatever you decide to do!!
