Hi Gang,
Kind thoughts & prayers are needed for Mr & Mrs Tvman. He hasn’t been on the Forum for quite a while because a lot has been happening health wise to him and his wife.
He has given me permission to let people know the situation. His wife, after many months of chemo, which unfortunately didn’t work as hoped, has to have major surgery today (Thursday) for Bowel Cancer. Tvman himself has been having issues with his blood results.
I would like everyone to just think of them, especially today and also of others in this Group who have been struggling recently. We are with you in spirit!
Thanks for letting us all know I often think off him and his wife often as they were one off the first to communicate with me when I first came into this group so sorry to hear this news I hope the surgery today goes well and hope that they both get good health and recovery soon and to everyone else who have been struggling recently my love and hugs are to you too xxx
Hi Everyone, Mrs T is through her 5 hour surgery and the surgeon is pleased with the way it went. I have passed on all your replies.
Salis, How are you doing, I haven't seen you post for a long time. Are you doing alright?
Love Annette x
Hi Annette,
I am happy to hear that Mrs Tvmans surgery went well. I am doing very well, enjoying my grandson who is now nearly 16 months old and a lovely happy boy. My latest scan in August showed stable disease again over 3 years since my treatment finished, my scan interval is now six months. Me and my OH have been enjoying travelling in our van when babysitting duties allow. I look in on this group, that really saved my sanity when I was in treatment and everything looked grim, every now and then, to catch up with how everyone is. I hope that you are doing well.
Best wishes to you and all the wonderful incorrigables!
Sarah
Hi Sarah (Salis) That is just the best news, how fantastic! It makes such a difference going from monthly to three monthly then to six monthly, it makes you feel you have time to do what you like not what you have to do!
I had been down to scans & checks yearly until my bloods started to play up but hopefully they will settle again. We are off to Majorca on 27th of this month, we are really looking forward to it. Where have you been in your van?
Love Annette x
Hi, I have passed on all the comments to Tvman and he said it gives him the strength to go on! Mrs T was allowed home yesterday.afternoon, so a night in her own bed will do her the world of good! Thanks again everyone!.
Love Annette x
