Has anyone been on this medication for endometrial cancer . I know it#s prescribed for breast cancer. Does anyone have any info to share TIA
Hi hs599 my cancer is endometrial stromal sarcoma, and I started my treatment on letrozole but switched to anastrozole. It has worked very well for me and I have been stable now for 10 years. Happy to answer any questions you may have x
Thank you for your reply and sharing your experience. It's early days yet as only been on this for a fortnight. I had no energy over the weekend but felt a bit better to day. Does your cancer have the CA125 receptor and if so how long did it take for the reading to decrease (if at all) thankyou
Hi hs599 sorry for the late reply.
No mine isn’t linked to the CA125. Hormone treatment isn’t always easy, but it can be very successful if your cancer is hormone fed like mine is. If you click on my profile name you can go to my profile page where you can read my journey so far.
Delighted to hear such positive news !
Just starting my cancer journey and wondering what the future holds .
Hi Cheekkat there are a few of us here who have been in the incurables group for a long time. Treatments have come such a long way in recent years, we are living longer with the disease.
I have just read your profile, you are really going through the mill at the moment! Hopefully you will get some better answers after your pet scan x
