  • Latest problems osteoporosis, and gland ectasia, and whatever my brain scan may show, Emailed yesterday for results

  • Yes lots of us have   Osteoporosis,

I am sure if any thing had shown up in Brain Scan, you would have know sooner rather that later, you know what they say, no news is good news.

  • Hi Ellie I do hope so, just phoned my GP, they haven't heard anything either, tried MRI hospital but nobody answers. At cancer hospital Monday, next to MRI one so will pop in

  • Well you  might get your answer, my Oncologist  always gives me  the results, face to face good or bad, and i appreciate that

  • Hi Ellie my MRI was requested by my psychologist, I'm hoping to see radiologist or someone at MRI department for answers, I think my psychologist has heard something as he wants me to be tested for MS and dementia

  • It is up to your psychologist  who said,  you was to have a scan, to give you the results, not the job of any one else.

Radiologist,  or at the mri dept,, you should be speaking to your psychologist to give you the results and the next plan of action, if there is one.

  • My mistake Ellie not my psychologist, my neurologist requested the scan and as he's at my local hospital can pop in tomorrow, I do have 5 ologist's, 2 for my brain so bound to make mistakes

  • Well the it is your  neurologist to give you the results, and if as you say he must have heard some thing as he wants you tested for MS or Dementia.

Well if your neurologist requested the scan, then it is up to them,.to tell you, what they might expect.

How do you know they want you tested  for MS  and Dementia,

    .

  • Neurology sent me a letter telling me to expect appointments for various tests. Ellie the brain scan was never for cancer, It was for trauma, I have aphantasia with no obvious cause so they were looking for signs of trauma, I am guessing none was found on the scan, which only leaves a neurological disorder with dementia and MS at the top of the list

  • I think you should wait and then see what your, Neurologist, then tells you until you here from them you really do not know.
