Oh dear, They should have made sure it was fully charged and ready for use before giving it to you! You just can't get the "staff" these days! Lol!
At least you managed to get it sorted! Your wife might have thought in throwing it and you out until Friday!! Just joking of course but if you don't laugh at these blips, you'd cry! Hope,you have a 'quiet' night!
We visited Ushaw Manor, Churches & Gardens today, it was amazing!

Afternoon Everyone.
Have just finished watch the D Day Memorial have to say.
Had my phone call from nurse, about my eye op.
My son came in for a quick ten minuets.
Not done a lot, well nothing really.
Lee i hope you are feeling slightly better, keep taking the tablets.
Bright and dry here, Friday tomorrow, another week nearly gone, going to quick for my likening.
