Flying whilst on Cabozantinib

Hi guys!

So my wife has decided to book a surprise trip to Rome next week... I am currently on Cabozantinib 40mg daily... The flight will be 2 hours and 40 mins each way and we will be flying back the same night (kinda a day trip).

My question is, have any of you that are on Cabo flown and did you suffer any adverse effects? I have mets to both lungs, adrenal gland a lymph nodes.

Hi SmurF80, sorry i am not on Cabo so can't share a first hand experience with you, but I hope someone on the forum will be able to help and you can jet off to Rome, sounds fab, Have you thought of asking your cancer nurse specialist for advice or phoning the Macmillan helpline 0808 808 00 00. best wishes to you both.

Thanks for your reply! I have an appointment next Tuesday with my team which is the day before I fly so I'll mention it to them and see what they say.
