Morning Tricia
Was Barts Hospital, even though, i was lost, as did not know, where anything was, the staff where wonderful, so kind considerate and helpful,
Was a long day, hospital transport, was a uber car, all to myself,, felt important lol.
The MRI was called Head and Brain Perfusion Study, with dye. An hour, laying there with head clamped down, was well would not like to do that every day.
Yes noisy , then it started making a different sound, like chopping lol, sounded like a butcher cutting meat, i did ask what was it, yes right it was the scan cutting the brain or slicing it, like a bit of meat.
The scan was to see what make be going on and the blood flow, into the brain tissue, you learn some thing new every day..
I have an appointment on the 27th March, but if one gets a phone call, sooner, then you know, could have a problem,
I got home dead on 6,pm shattered, got into bed, do not remember anything else, so that was my day. lol
Morning, hope you are well, dull here and yesterday was lie a spring day.
Have British Gas coming in to service boiler, no not me.
Have a bathroom man coming in, to see about getting a new bathroom and tomorrow, yes not Friday going shopping and oh yes have a ct scan Saturday, i am not well, all these appointments. xx

Hi Ellie, you MRI story made me laugh, I remember having the same thing when I was being checked for brain cancer.
The plastic mask they put on prevents you from doing anything and I had an itch on the end of my nose unable to scratch it, was like torture.
They told me the chopping noise was the machine taking another picture it only moves a fraction at a time hence the chopping sound.
Result I didn't have brain cancer just a bit of harmless fat, so I'm officially a fat head.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
