New Thread,

Hope this is to everyone's approval, i will ask the Mods to close No 18, when they can..
Ellie and I have phone massages. We thought it’s illegal but no complaints yet.
You could be right, though for what they provide, must take a lot of t fundraising to keep them going in all aspects.
Like the complementary therapy, day glasses for patients, the staff.
I know when hubby was in there, the chef told me all food donated by marks and spencer along with the flowers, because i slept in same room as him, the carers used to come in during the night, to check him, turn him, and used to cream him all over.. and ask if i wanted a cup of tea, any washing
i had they took it, washed and dried for me, ,do not get that in a hospital, thats for sure.
xx
well you have not complained,, if so never heard you lol.
I’m proud of what I’ve got. You are lucky to be able to jump the queue.
I am starting to feel a bit better!
LOL i am lucky, do not forget Lady Ellie, you are the lucky one. do not forget that .
I am lucky just to breath the same air as you.
goodnight all.
I hear you breaking in to song, The Air that i Breath.
Hi Judy, Yes I have a cleaner now too. Ellie is right, at first I used to clean, what I could, before she arrived, stupid I know, but couldn't help myself! She has been coming for years now and I've stopped that but make sure nothing is lying about so she can clean!
BP I also have someone who comes once a fortnight during the season to cut my grass, it's great. Do the robot mowers also pick up the cuttings? My niece (who is 35) has TWO robot hoovers, one for upstairs one for downstairs. Shay they are great and also keeps her 3 year old amused as he follows it about, while the 3 year old is at school and she has her coffee in peace!!
Ellie, now you can have a TV in each room! I hope you didn't iron the washing too, now that is hard work!l Our DIL is an Area Manager in Scotland for CRUK (cancer research UK) I have a monthly direct debit paid to them plus our local Hospice as neither receive Government funding. Without CRUK I would be kicking up the daisies!
Mikel, Glad you are feeling better. Defyhhyy Check where you are staying in Glasgow has central heating as it's meant to be -10 soon! Make sure you wear your thermals!
Eddie, I used to take Tai Chi classes for patients and staff at our local Hospice, never thinking I might be a patient one day!
Moi it's good to hear you are going to ask your GP for a referral to your Hospice. They are amazing places. Their classes and Therapies are great and they also have councillors!
Love Annette x
