Have any friends in this forum successfully tried Acupuncture to address numbness in the fingertips and toes?
Hi DekH
I've not had acupuncture for peripheral neuropathy from treatment. I did, however have it years ago, for nerve pain caused by neck problems. Apparently it can stimulate blood flow and there have been some successful studies. My cancer specialist nurse referred me to a therapist in the Macmillan centre at my local hospital for reflexology but I know that other patients were having acupuncture. May be worth asking about.
Incidentally, another champion recommended using a stress ball for neuropathy in the hands. I got one in The Works. I've used it but it sets off my elbow pain! Hope you find some relief.
