I'm aware that the name is a Norseman name, there is several versions of the name Ulls, who was a Norse chief who ruled an area from Cumbria to the western isles, the lake was named Ullswater in is honer.
According to Norse folklore Ulls or a variation of the nane was the God of winter and creator of the aurora borealis, as for me my DNA shows I'm 50% Norse, 30% Scottish 10% English, 5% Irish and and 5% middle eastern, my grandmother told me Ulls was a mix of Norse and Scott Gaelic.
