I think a few people here like baking cakes and a few more perhaps like eating them and discussing them. Here's a new themed post then to share your creations and your favourites. My go-to cake is carrot cake.
I hate the taste of water, so i pop a piece of lemon in it. One it adds flavour and two, it freshens my mouth up.

Oh! I knew there was something else I had to pick up in Tesco!! A lemon. 
Fruit cake made for my local Macmillan coffee morning last saturday. I was worried about it, that it wasn't cooked properly. It's easier baking for yourself only!
